The ‘Making an Impact! Skills for Career Paths in and beyond Academia’ aims to empower doctoral students and young researchers with transversal skills essential for professional success, both inside and outside academia.
The main objectives are: -Develop transferable skills essential for professional success, including career management, science communication, teamwork and strategic thinking. -Prepare participants for careers inside and outside academia, equipping them with the tools to navigate the global labour market and identify opportunities in public, private and entrepreneurial sectors. -Strengthen the ability to communicate and impact research, promoting open science, interdisciplinary collaboration and effective dialogue with different audiences (scientific, business and society in general). -Stimulate innovation and critical thinking, promoting creative approaches to problem-solving, strategic decision-making and project management. -Promote internationalisation and inter-institutional collaboration, strengthening contact networks between doctoral students, researchers and professionals from different countries and sectors, within the framework of the EUGLOH alliance. |
