The ‘Making an Impact! Skills for Career Paths in and beyond Academia’ training programme is part of the EUGLOH - European University Alliance for Global Health, promoting the development of transversal skills essential for the employability and professional transition of doctoral students and young researchers, both inside and outside academia.
REGISTRATION:
Step 1: Datres
Step 2: Organizer website (https://www.eugloh.eu/courses-trainings/activities/eugloh-living-lab/)
his EUGLOH program supports doctoral researchers through a focused, one-week intensive training designed to develop key competencies essential for a successful academic career as well as for diverse professional fields beyond academia. It offers the opportunity to unlock your potential as a researcher and future professional.
A PhD requires a significant amount of effort: it involves long-term, independent research focused on making an original contribution to a scientific field. Yet, a PhD also comes with a considerable chance to make an impact beyond your field – be it in a political, educational, cultural, economic, or social dimension.
The program encourages you to reflect on the competencies acquired during your PhD. It explores ways to communicate your work effectively and strengthen your academic and professional profile. By participating, you will learn how to present your research with confidence to diverse audiences and potential partners, both within and outside the academic world. You will have the opportunity to build valuable networks across disciplines and borders and to develop strategies for (academic) career development and societal contribution.
Join us to enhance your skills, gain new insights, and increase your confidence to make a meaningful impact in the field of global health.
