En este curso se presentarán los aspectos más relevantes relacionados con la expresión escrita a nivel de párrafo (Cohesión; Citas, paráfrasis y resumen; Presentar evidencia y sintetización). Con todo ello, se pretende que los asistentes a la actividad desarrollen una serie de habilidades comunicativas relativas a la expresión escrita y que sean capaces de elaborar sus textos de acuerdo con las reglas básicas del español académico.

Cohesion (Cohesión) By the end of this session, participants will be able to use linking words at sentence and paragraph level correctly in their academic writing. These skills will enhance and make their arguments interesting and clear to the reader. Quotations, paraphrasing and summarising (Citas, paráfrasis y resumen) By the end of this session, participants will be able to use other academics' and experts' views and research correctly as evidence in their academic writing. Participants will learn how to use quotations and in-text citations accurately in their academic writing. In addition, participants will learn how to paraphrase other peoples' ideas as well as improving their skills at summarising information. Presenting evidence and synthesising (Presentar evidencia y sintetización) By the end of this session, participants will be able to understand the importance of collating and presenting evidence in their academic writing. In addition, students will learn how to synthesise other peoples' ideas and work into coherent arguments in their academic essays.

Tras la lectura de la presentación teórica de los contenidos, el alumnado realizará diferentes ejercicios prácticos para poder alcanzar los diferentes objetivos propuestos.
